CLEP/DSST Exams
CLEP®/DSST® Exams
CLEP®
The College-Level Examination Program® (CLEP) is the most widely accepted credit-by-examination program in the United States today, allowing students of all ages to earn college degrees faster by getting credit for what they already know.
DSST® (formerly DANTES Subject Standardized Tests)
The DSST® Program is an extensive series of examinations in college subjects that are compatible to the final or end-of-course examination in undergraduate courses.
Credit Awarded by VU
Vincennes University awards credit for college-level testing with the American Council on Education (ACE) recommended passing scores. There is no maximum amount of credit awarded, but only 45 semester hours can be used towards completion of a degree. Credits awarded are subject to periodic review by Vincennes University faculty.

- When signing up for the exam, you can also choose where to send the transcript of your score. The official transcript should be mailed directly to VU.
- Contact the Testing Center site to schedule the exam.
For DSST® Exams:
