SUNDAY, JUNE 26 – THURSDAY, JUNE 30, 2022

The Summer STEM Academy Camp will bring students from around the state of Indiana to the Vincennes campus for an intensive, summer experience to learn about STEM career paths while experiencing campus life.  Students participating in the Academy will complete hands-on STEM activities and labs, visit select local STEM employers, hear from VU alumni currently working in STEM fields to learn about their college and work experiences, and discover steps to take to prepare for future STEM careers from both alumni as well as VU counselors and admissions staff.  Participants will end the week with group projects incorporating multiple STEM fields. 

Each group will have an opportunity to share their project with other Academy participants on the final afternoon.  Students will also be provided with information on how best to prepare for college, both academically as well as financially.  This program will provide students with a head start in preparing for success in college and careers and will create an easier transition for students into a college or work‐based learning environment.  Upon successful completion of the camp, participants will earn two college credits.
