Teaches Nursing Fundamentals college laboratory and clinical

Professor Bushnell views teaching as various experiences and interactions that provide students with knowledge and the ability to recognize and apply classroom concepts in clinical settings as well as seizing opportunities for growth.  Teaching opens up pathways for students that lead to lifelong learning and professional development.

Work experience includes 1 years as a staff nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital ICU, 3 years of experience as a staff nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital in the Cardiac Cath Lab.

Professor Bushnell finds that the best part about being a nursing instructor is watching students begin to understand concepts while working to mold them into professional nurses for the workforce.
